ERROR CONTROL MECHANISM USING SELECTIVE REPEAT ARQ PROTOCOL

The SR ARQ Protocol is implemented in Python in this project. Positive and negative acknowledgements are used in the implementation. Acknowledgements are sent from the receiver side to the sender side in order for the sender side to be aware of what is happening on the receiver side. If the acknowledgement for a packet is positive, it means that the packet was sent without error. Otherwise, if the acknowledgement is negative, it indicates that there was a problem in the delivery of the packet and suggests that it be retransmitted.

In 2017, we started working on a unique solar energy tracking device called 3e-STECHULIKA.
The three ‘E’ stand for Economic, Efficient and Eco-friendly, and STECHULIKA stands for ‘Solar Tech Chulhika’. So, essentially, it is a solar energy tracking device, which maps the direction of the
sun to manage maximum absorption of the light.
What sets the device apart from the existing solar cookers is its versatility and its ability to maximise solar energy through the tracking device.
Also, unlike the usual solar devices, it doesn’t require continuously adjusted as per the sun to work. The tracking device makes sure there is efficient absorption at all seasons.
Our project has been recognized as one among the top 50 projects in the ATAL innovation marathon 2018. Our team was one among the 5 teams form Kerala.
